A whimsical collection of traditional and original folk tales, cleverly dramatized in a storyteller's theatre format, with the help of a colorful supporting cast of life-sized puppets and imaginary friends, including a stingy Burgomeister and his wife, a slovenly husband, a wolf, a rabbit and a turnip loving billy goat.

Educational as well as entertaining, Burt's performances stress important moral values and educational concepts. Among the stories are these favorites...

An original "Jack Tale" about a young lad, aided by a "right homely" walking stick that teaches it is only by giving to others that we learn to appreciate what we have.

The Illustrated Stone Soup

The Heron with a Twisted Neck
